2. Belitung (1)

Why part 2a? Because I love love love loveee Belitung! This 2012 year I also went twice to Belitung and I still want to go there again!

The 1st time was in late Feb 2012, and again, I went with a group of (almost the same) Docents and college students from Bandung. Similar with what happen during my trip to Lombok in end of Jan 2012, this Belitung trip also a bit ruined because of the rain. Nevertheless, it was still so beautiful even on a rainy day.

I went there using Batavia afternoon flight and it was delayed one hour (sigh) and went back using Sriwijaya morning flight as I have to went directly to office (poor me). The cost was less than RP 1 million and I booked it only 2 days before leaving. There are only 2 airlines served this destination: Batavia and Sriwijaya. Sometimes they put higher price for far away travel date, but it was also a gamble to booked an air ticket just a few days before (but from my experience just for this Belitung, usually cheaper). Oh, please take cautions, the airport to Belitung is Tanjung Pandan. Don't go to Pangkal Pinang as it is in Bangka (neighbor island) or even to Tanjung Pinang (as it is in Riau Island).

Hari Libur 2013

Baiklah, selingan sedikit sebelum melanjutkan 2012 Travel Reminiscence. Berhubung saya tipe orang yang paling hobi merencanakan liburan maka daftar hari libur tahunan ini sangat wajib dimiliki. Biasanya saya malah sudah memilikinya sekitar bulan Agustus tahun sebelumnya, maklum, tukang berburu promo tiket murah :)

7. Hari Raya Waisak 2557 pada Sabtu 25 Mei 
8. Isra' Mi'raj pada Kamis 6 Juni 
9. Hari Kemerdekaan RI pada Sabtu 17 Agustus 
10. Hari Raya Idul Fitri pada Kamis 8 Agustus dan Jumat 9 Agustus 
11. Hari Raya Idul Adha pada Selasa 15 Oktober 
12. Tahun Baru 1435 H pada Selasa 5 November 
13. Hari Raya Natal Rabu 25 Desember 

Jadwal cuti bersama tahun 2013: 

1. Hari Raya Idul Fitri pada Senin 5 Agustus, Selasa 6 Agustus dan Rabu 7 Agustus 2. Cuti bersama Hari Raya Idul Adha pada Senin 14 Oktober 
3. Cuti bersama Hari Raya Natal pada Kamis 26 Desember

Setelah dilihat-lihat, banyak hari kejepitnya ya. Bisa lumayan untuk ambil cuti dan jalan-jalan nih :)

2012 Travel Reminiscence (part 1)

Wow, it is already more than 1 year since the last time I wrote on this blog. Again, apologize for my laziness -__-"

This will be a short up date. I only want to share few photos from 2012 travelling journey. I should like to call this 2012 as "Beach Year" as I only went to beaches that year, errr...actually I only went to 2 islands/beaches, twice! But eventhough it was the same beaches, the experience was not the same. Maybe because of the different companies I've got and also the different weather :) Oh almost forgot, I also went abroad that year, it was not a new place, it was just a backtrack of a backpacker journey I had a couple years ago.

 So here it is, in 3 parts as it quite a long story ;)

 1. Lombok : Gili Trawangan, Kuta, Gili Nanggu
I went to Lombok for the first time was a couple years a go and it was a work related, so I can't fully enjoyed the beauty of Lombok. This 2012, I went on January (and this was my first travel that year) and I think it was a wrong time to go to the beach, because it was rainy all day loooong.... -sigh- 

 This time I went there with a group of docents from Bandung. The itinerary is what I call as ordinary itinerary. First day went to city tour to see Pura Lingsar and also Narmada Palce, and then to Senggigi (and stay there), second day to some traditional villages to see the pottery and also "tenun ikat" and then to Tanjung Aan beach. The third day went to the ever famous Gili Trawangan.
